1. System-Wide Issues
- What It Does:
Notifies you of critical issues that affect the entire system, such as server downtime or connectivity problems. - Frequency:
- Immediate: Delivered as soon as the issue is detected.
- Example:
- NCSU StormPack RTC Alert: System-wide issue. No internet connection detected. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for support. Reply STOP to cancel.
2. Hardware Issues
- What It Does:
Alerts related to the physical components of the system. This includes low battery warnings, actuator malfunctions, and anomalies in sensor data (e.g., depth or flow irregularities). - Frequency:
- Immediate: For urgent hardware issues.
- Example:
- NCSU StormPack RTC Alert: Parkside Downstream Depth Node battery is low (x%). System set to low battery mode. Send out maintenance. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for support. Reply STOP to cancel.
3. Valve Operations
- What It Does:
Provides updates on valve activity such as opening/closing events, the duration of valve operations, planned water level drops, and actual water flow measurements. - Frequency :
- Immediate: For real-time operational updates.
- Example:

4. Depth Monitoring
- What It Does:
Monitors current water levels and sends alerts when the levels exceed preset thresholds (either too low or too high). - Frequency:

6. Emergency
- What It Does:
Delivers critical alerts for severe failures (e.g., valve stuck, battery dead, flood-level water depths) that require immediate attention. - Frequency:
- Immediate: These alerts are always sent immediately to ensure prompt action.

7. Performance Summaries
- What It Does:
Offers an overview of the system’s performance, including metrics such as gallons of flooding mitigated and system activation counts. - Frequency:
- Monthly: A comprehensive summary sent at the end of each month.

2. Performance Summaries
- What It Does:
Delivers a monthly overview of the system’s overall performance, including key statistics like the volume of flooding mitigated and system usage. - Frequency:
