Regenerative stormwater conveyance (RSC) is a retrofit on ‘zero’ order streams that incorporates elements of bioretention, swale design, and stream restoration. NC State’s field monitoring examines a water balance and nutrient transformations that occur in the stormwater control measure (SCM). The practice typically treats 5 to 10 acre watersheds, often in the eroding gullies of riparian buffers.
