Regenerative Stormwater Conveyance (RSC)

Regenerative stormwater conveyance (RSC) is a retrofit on ‘zero’ order streams that incorporates elements of bioretention, swale design, and stream restoration. NC State’s field monitoring examines the water balance and nutrient transformations that occur in the stormwater control measure (SCM). The practice typically treats 5 to 10 acre watersheds, often in the eroding gullies of riparian buffers.
